Past Presentation - OPERA Online Presentation - 'Plant Dismantling for Re-erection'

Speaker: Richard Vann FIDE, FIExpE, Eng. Tec. Managing Director RVA Group

Presentation synopsis:

With minds focused on a circular economy – everyone looks to reuse or recycle. Applying this philosophy to large-scale process plant may not always achieve the operational, commercial and environmental outcomes desired.

Many factors should be considered when assessing the risks associated with a plant relocation and how risk can be managed and mitigated to an acceptable level.

Recognising every case should be assessed on its own merits and no one-size fits all, this presentation covers many of the more common issues and challenges to be faced.
